This year, we celebrate something truly special—100 years of the Scott County Fair.
For generations, this fair has brought our community together through traditions, laughter, and memories that start right at home… often around the table.
100th Anniversary Cookbook filled with recipes and memories from the people of Scott County.
From Sunday dinners to fair-winning favorites, we’re collecting the dishes and moments that have been passed down through families and shared across generations.
And we’d love for you to be part of it.
🧁 WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re inviting submissions from across the community, including:
- 🍽️ Recipes – Family favorites, traditional dishes, desserts, or anything you love to make
- 📸 Photos – Old or new! Family meals, fair memories, kitchen moments, exhibits, or gatherings
- 💬 Stories – Memories of the fair, your family traditions, or the story behind your recipe
📝 HOW TO SUBMIT
Please include:
- Your name (as you’d like it printed)
- Recipe name and instructions
- A short story or memory (optional, but encouraged!)
- Any photos you’d like to share

Don’t worry if your recipe isn’t perfectly written—some of the best ones never are.
Whether it’s “a pinch of this” or “cook until it looks right,” those little details are part of what makes our traditions so special.

All submissions will be compiled into our Scott County Fair 100th Anniversary Cookbook, which will be:
- Available for purchase during the fair
- A treasured keepsake for years to come
- A celebration of the people and traditions that make Scott County home
