Agriculture

Exhibits

Produce exhibited in this department must be from the current year's crop or have been produced since the last fair, and the exhibitor must be the producer. Illegal entries may be discarded.

Perishable items entered must be fresh and free of blemishes. Entries should be clean, trimmed, and as uniform as possible. This is important as exhibits must remain presentable for a week. Deteriorated entries may be discarded.

Vegetables will be judged on quality, including uniformity in size, freshness, firmness, and undamaged appearance, as well as freedom from disease and insects. If only one entry in a class, it will not automatically win first place. Prizes will be awarded at the judge's discretion.
